Brexit
Στις 29 Μαρτίου, ημερομηνία που παρατάθηκε αρχικά έως 31 Οκτωβρίου και στη συνέχεια έως 31 Ιανουαρίου 2020 δυνάμει του άρθρου 50 παράγραφος 3 της ΣΕΕ, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο αναμένεται να αποχωρήσει από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, είτε έχοντας συνάψει Συμφωνία Αποχώρησης με την ΕΕ είτε άνευ συμφωνίας (no-deal Brexit). Το γεγονός αυτό έχει προκαλέσει μεγάλη αβεβαιότητα στις επιχειρήσεις του χρηματοπιστωτικού τομέα αλλά και στους πολίτες που κάνουν χρήση των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών, λόγω κυρίως της μεγάλης διασύνδεσης που παρουσιάζει η αγορά του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου με αυτές των κρατών μελών της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Προκειμένου να διασφαλιστεί η σταθερότητα του χρηματοπιστωτικού συστήματος και η απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία των ευρωπαϊκών αγορών, οι ευρωπαϊκοί θεσμοί έχουν προβεί στην έκδοση χρήσιμων ανακοινώσεων και οδηγιών προς όλους τους συμμετέχοντες φορείς, επενδυτές και καταναλωτές. Η ΕΕΤ, μέσω της συνεχούς παρακολούθησης του ευρωπαϊκού ρυθμιστικού πλαισίου για τις χρηματοπιστωτικές αγορές, έχει συγκεντρώσει το υλικό αυτό και το έχει κατανείμει αντίστοιχα σε ευρωπαϊκό και σε εθνικό επίπεδο, για την καλύτερη κατανόησή του από τους χρήστες της ιστοσελίδας. Επίσης, για λόγους πληρέστερης ενημέρωσης έχει συμπεριλάβει ειδικό πεδίο με ανακοινώσεις γενικού περιεχομένου, αλλά και χρήσιμους συνδέσμους για την περαιτέρω αναζήτηση χρήσιμου πληροφοριακού υλικού.
